About the Event

Embark on an exciting adventure with the third installment of the LOC Saturday Series and Junior League, taking place in Sea Wood near Bardsea. This vibrant orienteering event offers runners three distinct courses: White, Yellow, and Orange, each tailored to different skill levels. The White and Yellow routes are ideal for beginners seeking a gentle introduction to the sport, while the Orange course presents a moderate challenge for those ready to push their limits.
Registration opens at 1pm on November 14, 2026, with start times ranging from 1:30pm to 2:45pm. Participants can choose between League and Open courses based on their preference. For the Junior League, runners must select a school year group and name during registration; additional participants in pairs or groups should be listed accordingly.
The event encourages newcomers to explore orienteering with friends or family members by running as teams. Detailed guidelines for participation are available online at the LOC website under Saturday Series Information and Rules. All attendees are required to adhere to British Orienteering’s Participation Codes of Conduct, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Remember that non-members of British Orienteering will be participating at their own risk as they won't have access to public liability insurance coverage provided by the organization. Join fellow enthusiasts in Sea Wood for an unforgettable day filled with scenic routes and friendly competition.
