Lidingöloppet i Funäsfjällen

Lidingöloppet i Funäsfjällen invites runners to explore some of Sweden's most breathtaking mountain landscapes through its 30K, 20K, and 10K courses. The race starts and finishes at the Bruksvallarna ski stadium in a setting that promises both scenic beauty and challenging terrain.
The flagship 30K course is designed for those seeking an intense high-elevation experience. It features steep climbs, rolling paths, flat meadows, and gravel stretches, all set against panoramic views of Helags, Sylarna, Skars, and Mittåkläppen from the summit cabin on Kariknallen (1050 m). Runners will encounter a mix of technical mountain running segments alongside sections of the Pilgrimsleden trail, offering both thrilling challenges and moments to soak in the natural beauty.
The 20K course is equally captivating with its scenic route that includes 530 meters of ascent. This shorter distance still offers spectacular views and varied terrain, providing a balance between challenge and enjoyment as runners traverse through bogs and among mountain flowers along the Ljusnan riverbank.
For those looking for an introduction to this stunning setting, the 10K course is ideal. It captures much of what makes Lidingöloppet special with its shorter but spirited run that includes boggy terrain, blooming wildflowers, and trails alongside the picturesque Ljusnan River.
Each distance offers a unique blend of physical challenge and natural beauty, making Lidingöloppet i Funäsfjällen an unforgettable experience for runners seeking to connect with Sweden's majestic mountains and valleys on July 17, 2027.
