Leominster 5K & 10K Easter 2027

About the Event

On Good Friday, March 26th, 2027, runners are invited to join the Easter Bank Holiday Leominster 5K and 10K Road Race. This chip-timed event takes place along the serene country lanes of Leominster, offering participants a picturesque setting for their run.
The race offers two options: a fast and flat 5K course that winds through quiet countryside roads or an undulating 10K route which includes all sections of the 5K path. Both courses are designed to provide runners with stunning views and challenging terrain in equal measure, making it ideal whether you're looking for a quick time on a flat course or a more varied experience.
The race will start at Halo Leisure located on Bridge Street (HR6 8EA). Early morning starters can expect the 5K race to begin promptly at 8:45 AM, followed by the 10K runners setting off just fifteen minutes later. Entry fees are £15 for affiliated athletes and £17 for unattached competitors in the 5K event; while the 10K costs £18 and £20 respectively. The minimum age requirement is 11 years old for both races.
All participants must pre-register to secure their spot, as no entries will be accepted on race day. With a total limit of 300 runners, early sign-up is recommended. Parking at the Bridge Street Sports Centre is limited and incurs charges; however, nearby car parks offer alternatives without fees.
Upon arrival, competitors can take advantage of toilet facilities available on-site and access to refreshments including water post-race for those completing the shorter distance. The 10K route features a strategically placed water station that runners will encounter twice during their run.
Safety is paramount at this event, with full medical cover provided throughout. Each finisher receives a medal upon crossing the line, while top male and female athletes in both races are awarded prizes for first through third places.
Official results can be accessed online after the race via www.readysetgotiming.co.uk. Participants must adhere to strict rules including no headphone use except bone conduction models, visible bibs at all times, and compliance with marshals' instructions during the event.
