Leavenworth Marathon & Half Marathon

The Leavenworth Marathon & Half Marathon offers runners an enchanting journey through Washington's picturesque landscapes. Starting near the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area, marathon participants take a shuttle to their starting point and then embark on a 10-mile stretch through Icicle Canyon’s serene beauty. The route continues along East Leavenworth Road, taking runners across the Wenatchee River Bridge into the charming Bavarian Village of Leavenworth.
This scenic course features a mix of paved roads and paths, including dirt trails alongside rivers where salmon can be spotted spawning. Runners will follow wooded riverfront parks and Icicle Road before looping back onto East Leavenworth Road for another lap through the picturesque setting. The marathon concludes with a lively finish at Enchantment Park Event Center.
For those choosing the half marathon distance, the race begins in the heart of Leavenworth’s Bavarian Village at Enchantment Park. Participants will run down 10th Street and into Riverfront Park before joining the same route as the full marathon back to the park for a festive finish line celebration.
