Leamington Spa Half Marathon

The Leamington Spa Half Marathon, now in its ninth year, promises another thrilling run through the heart of Royal Leamington Spa. This popular event has sold out for five consecutive years due to its scenic course and welcoming atmosphere.
Starting and finishing beside the iconic Royal Pump Room Gardens, runners will enjoy a traffic-free route that takes them north from the bustling town center into picturesque villages and across rolling farms and fields in the Warwickshire countryside. The return journey through this serene landscape culminates with a descent back into Leamington Spa for an exhilarating finish.
Participants can look forward to chip timing, post-race snacks, and opportunities to purchase race photography. All runners will receive a medal and t-shirt upon completion of their run, reflecting the event's commitment to sustainability by offering items that help reduce waste going to landfill.
Safeline, one of the charity partners for this year’s half marathon, provides essential support services including free counseling, independent sexual violence advocates (ISVAs), prevention programs, and helplines. Since 1994, Safeline has supported over 100,000 people affected by sexual abuse or rape.
In addition to the main event, families can enjoy the Kids Mile—a FREE fun run for children that starts and ends near the adult finish line. All participating kids will receive a free medal, making it an inclusive day out for all ages.
The Pump Room Gardens serve as the heart of race activities with the Event Village located just steps away from both start and finish lines, offering a convenient hub for runners to collect their bibs or grab refreshments before heading into town. Leamington Spa’s charming cafes and pubs await after the event, inviting everyone to relax and celebrate together.
