Le Strasbourgeois

On November 8, 2026, Strasbourg will host an unconventional and festive race that challenges traditional norms to raise awareness about men's health issues through the Movember campaign. The Strasbourgeois Race is set apart from typical running events with its unique twist: participants are required to run in slips.
The event takes place at Kaleidoscoop, a vibrant community hub located near Ancienne Coop in Strasbourg. Registration for race bibs begins at 9 AM and the race kicks off promptly at 10 AM. The slip is the official attire of this year’s edition; runners are encouraged to wear it creatively—over leggings, bare-chested, or even on their heads—to promote a light-hearted atmosphere while spreading awareness about men's health issues.
This innovative event also features a duo format for registration, allowing participants to sign up as teams consisting of two individuals who can be either male-female pairs, same-sex couples, or any combination thereof. The race organizers believe in the power of companionship and support when it comes to prevention, early detection, and awareness about men's cancers.
The 5-kilometer course winds through Strasbourg’s scenic streets with a celebratory vibe, featuring local artists who will add color and energy along the route. Participants can expect an engaging experience that combines fun and fitness while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Join this unique race on November 8th in Strasbourg to support men's health awareness in a playful yet impactful way.
Participants are reminded to arrive early for bib collection at Kaleidoscoop, where they will also receive their slips. The event promises an unforgettable day filled with creativity and camaraderie as runners come together to make a difference while enjoying the festive spirit of Strasbourg.
