Strasbourg en Paddle de Noël

On December 5, 2026, paddle enthusiasts are invited to explore the scenic waters of Strasbourg's Ill River with a unique stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) adventure. The course covers approximately 5 kilometers along the river, offering participants an engaging and relaxing experience amidst the charming urban landscape.
The event begins at 3:00 PM from the ASPCA club house located at 20 Rue de la Plaine des Bouchers in Strasbourg. Participants will paddle through calm waters towards the picturesque cityscape, enjoying panoramic views of Strasbourg as they make their way to the finish line at Eaux Vives (36 Rue Pierre de Coubertin) by around 4:30 PM.
Designed for individuals aged 13 and older, this event emphasizes safety with a requirement for participants to wear appropriate attire that is close-fitting and safe in water conditions. This includes full wetsuits or similar protective gear, ensuring comfort and security throughout the paddle journey.
Participants are encouraged to manage their own start and finish times independently, allowing them to enjoy the experience at their own pace while taking advantage of the tranquil setting along the Ill River. Upon completion, paddlers will be greeted with a surprise awaiting them at the conclusion point, adding an element of excitement to the event's closing moments.
