LDWA Jurassic Hundred Marshals' 2027

The 54th edition of the LDWA’s annual Jurassic Hundred Marshals' Event is set to unfold over the early May bank holiday weekend in 2027, offering dedicated marshals an unforgettable journey along East Devon's stunning landscapes. Hosted by the Cornwall and Devon Group, this event starts and finishes in historic Axminster, weaving through the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and the picturesque East Devon National Landscape.
Participants will embark on a challenging route that initially heads east into Dorset before joining the coast at Lyme Regis, renowned for its beautiful cliffs and fossil-rich shores. The course then follows the South West Coast Path’s dramatic coastline to Exmouth, with sweeping views of rugged coastal paths and serene estuaries. After crossing the Exe Estuary, runners will traverse inland through rolling hills and river valleys along the East Devon Way.
This year's event promises steep climbs, expansive vistas (weather permitting), and a warm welcome from local communities. Each marshal plays an essential role in ensuring this unique experience is both safe and enjoyable for all involved. The Jurassic Hundred Marshals' Event offers XCover to provide peace of mind should unforeseen circumstances arise.
