Last Mamba Standing

Step into the heart of Tennessee's rolling hills for the 2027 Last Mamba Standing Backyard Ultra on October 23, 2027. Hosted by Mamba Trail Runners and featuring an official Bronze Ticket status as part of the Road to Big’s Backyard Ultra qualification pathway, this event promises a unique challenge in Eads, just outside Memphis.
The race unfolds over approximately 4.167 miles per loop on private trails that wind through lush woodlands and skirt around scenic lakes, offering runners about 250 feet of elevation gain with each circuit. With only 50 spots available via lottery registration, this intimate setting ensures a focused and competitive atmosphere.
Runners must complete the loop within one hour or face elimination; if you finish early, use your remaining time to rest, hydrate, and prepare for the next round. The race continues through day into night until just one runner remains standing as the Last Mamba Standing Champion. A limited aid station will be available but runners are encouraged to bring their own supplies.
Join a community of dedicated athletes pushing themselves beyond traditional limits in this self-supported ultra marathon where endurance meets nature’s beauty.
