Lake Liberty Trail Runs

The Lake Liberty Trail Runs invites runners of all levels to explore the rugged beauty and classic wilderness of Oklahoma at Lake Liberty Trails near Guthrie. Offering distances ranging from 100K to 5K, this endurance race features challenging singletrack-equestrian trails with technical sections that test even the most experienced trail runners.
The course winds through scenic landscapes, showcasing Oklahoma's diverse terrain and natural beauty as participants navigate around Liberty Lake (7413 S Academy Rd, Guthrie, OK 73044). With an elevation gain of approximately 360 feet per 10-mile loop, the race presents a formidable challenge for runners aiming to push their limits.
On October 9th, early packet pickup begins at 5 PM on Friday, with full registration and start times beginning at dawn. The event emphasizes self-sufficiency by asking participants to bring their own hydration systems due to the no-cup policy. For those tackling the grueling 100K distance, a pacer can join after loop five.
Aid stations are strategically placed along the route, offering essential supplies and encouragement from supportive volunteers who make this event possible. Runners will enjoy scenic views and friendly competition as they push through the challenging terrain to reach the finish line where all participants receive a Lake Liberty Trail Runs Finisher Medal.
