About the Event

In honor of Laurent DIOT, the unique "La LOLO" race invites runners to explore natural trails while supporting a noble cause. All proceeds from this one-time event will benefit the "Village Landais Alzheimer Henri Emmanuelli," located in Dax where Laurent resides since October 2025.
Two routes are available for both trail enthusiasts and hikers, each offering its own charm:
- For Trailers: A challenging 17.4 km route with a total ascent of 300 meters begins at Stade de Saint-Clément. The race kicks off at 10:00 AM.
- For Hikers: An easier 8.4 km course, gaining just 100 meters in elevation, starts at the same venue but departs half an hour later, at 10:30 AM.
Online registration is open until July 4th, 2026, by 7:00 PM (limited spots available). On-site sign-ups are also possible on race day for those who prefer a more spontaneous approach.
Runners can look forward to scenic landscapes and the supportive atmosphere of fellow participants as they navigate through well-marked paths winding through nature. The event promises a rich experience, with refreshments available at various points along the route—booking in advance is recommended.
Additional entertainment includes a community flea market spread throughout the day, adding an extra layer of local color to this special edition race.
