La Gotica Pedalata Storica

About the Event

Step back in time as you pedal through the historic landscapes of Italy's Linea Gotica region for an unforgettable journey. This reenactment ride honors the epic battles and symbolic locations along this significant wartime boundary, now transformed into a peaceful tribute to resilience and hope.
Riders will traverse silent hills and timeless villages where once soldiers’ commands echoed and war drums resounded. Today, these routes hum with the rhythmic clinking of bicycle chains and determined pedaling beats as participants don period attire on vintage or modern bikes, fully immersing themselves in the era's spirit. Historical reenactors dressed as German and Allied troops bring each mile to life, turning the route into an open-air theater where history and emotion converge.
The race begins in Montefiore Conca with a traditional French-style start line-up before winding through charming towns such as Tavoleto, Mondaino, Montegridolfo, Gradara, San Giovanni in Marignano, and Morciano di Romagna. Each village offers glimpses into Italy's rich past while celebrating local flavors at era-themed refreshment stops.
Participants will receive race numbers, commemorative gifts, and special recognition upon completion of this unique ride that honors the legacy of those who came before us, one kilometer at a time.
