La Cherveusienne 2026

About the Event

On December 6, 2026, the charming village of Cherveux will host the 18th edition of La Cherveusienne. This scenic race features three events: a 6 km run starting at 9:30 AM, a 12 km run also beginning at 9:30 AM, and a leisurely 9 km walk that kicks off earlier at 9:00 AM.
Participants will gather in the picturesque courtyard of Cherveux Castle for registration and departures. The race courses wind through the heart of Cherveux, with parts of the longer route extending into neighboring Saint-Christophe-sur-Roc. Runners can expect a mix of paved roads and trails, offering both challenges and stunning vistas.
Registration is available online until December 5th at midnight or in person up to half an hour before race start times for those who prefer last-minute sign-ups. Dossiers may also be picked up the day before from Sport 2000 in Niort between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
The event is organized by Amicale Rurale de Cherveux, ensuring a warm welcome for all competitors. Finishers will enjoy post-race festivities including awards ceremonies where top finishers are recognized across various categories. The first male and female runners from the village of Cherveux in both races receive special honors.
Join this charming event to experience the festive spirit of rural France while challenging yourself on varied terrain among friendly locals.
