Kuilove Longwu Qilin Mountain Running Race 2026 (2026酷爱龙坞·麒麟越野赛)

The 2026 Cool Love Longwu·Qilin Mountain Race, set to take place on December 27th at the Tea Source Valley in Longwu Town of Hangzhou's West Lake District, promises an exhilarating experience for runners and nature enthusiasts alike. With a total capacity of 800 participants, this event features two challenging courses: the Baiyanshan Trail (21K) and the Qilin Course (35K).

Starting off with the Baiyanshan Trail at a distance of 19.22km and an elevation gain of 1365 meters, runners will begin their journey from Tea Source Valley early in the morning on December 27th at 7:00 AM. The race winds through scenic villages like Changdai Village before ascending Baiyanshan via a series of steps. Runners then traverse Hengzha Wudu and climb over Jilingding, passing by Huangmei Pavilion and Guangming Pavilion along the way. This route is characterized by layers of tea fields amidst bamboo groves and trees, offering breathtaking views throughout.
The Qilin Course extends further into the mountain wilderness at 34.77km with an elevation gain of 2996 meters, starting earlier from Tea Source Valley at 6:30 AM on December 27th. This course not only includes all the highlights of the Baiyanshan Trail but also ventures deeper into the mountains via Dayangwu Reservoir and Wanzhangshan before reaching XiXianyu Village. The route continues through lush forests atop Nanhao Mountain, passing by Bailongwan and Feifengyan, eventually circling back to Hejia Village for the finish line.
This event marks a significant milestone as it is the second edition of what was first introduced in 2023 at Xixianyu Village. The race organizers have meticulously preserved key elements from previous years while enhancing various aspects based on accumulated experience and feedback, ensuring that every detail aligns perfectly with their original vision for the Qilin Mountain Race.
