About the Event

Embark on the historic journey of Lithuania’s oldest ongoing ultra-trail race, connecting Kernavė, a 13th-century capital filled with ancient mounds and rich history, to modern Vilnius. Spanning an arduous 82 km route that winds through picturesque landscapes, this trail challenges runners with its varied terrain—rolling hills, river valleys, and steep climbs amounting to nearly 2,000 meters of elevation gain. While the two cities are only a short distance apart as the crow flies, the race offers an immersive experience along scenic bends of rivers, lush fields, and dense forests.
For those seeking shorter distances but still desiring a challenging trail run, options include the 42 km Trail Marathon starting in Šilėnai’s ethnographic village. This course captures much of the ultra-trail's allure with its technical sections and stunning scenery before merging into the full route to reach Vilnius.
Alternatively, runners can choose between the Half Marathon Plus or the 10K Sprint for a taste of speed and steep climbs in an environment far removed from typical urban running paths. Each distance offers unique highlights that celebrate Lithuania’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage along every step.
