KAP sani2c nonstop 2027

Embarking on the Sani2C race is an epic adventure that spans 250 kilometers from the base of Sani Pass to Scottburgh Beach along South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal coast. Teams of two, three, or four cyclists must navigate this challenging terrain within a grueling 24-hour window. The route offers breathtaking scenery, winding through the majestic Southern Drakensberg mountains and down to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
Participants can opt for either a supported team with at least one support driver or an unsupported solo challenge. Along the way, teams are required to make two mandatory stops at Mackenzie and Jolivet, where they will receive refreshments like tea, coffee, and snacks before continuing their journey. The race pack includes a Salomon event garment, adding a touch of style to this endurance feat.
Professional medical support from ER24 is provided throughout the route, ensuring safety for all participants. However, it's crucial that cyclists have travel insurance in case of hospitalization during or after the race. For unsupported riders needing car shuttles between check points, contact Judy at [email protected] for assistance.
The Sani2C event promises an unforgettable blend of natural beauty and physical challenge, making it a bucket-list experience for avid cyclists around the world.
Join us on May 29, 2027, for this remarkable journey through KwaZulu-Natal's diverse landscapes.
