Jenkintown Sunset 5K Run 2027

Join us on June 2, 2027, for the 34th Annual Jenkintown Sunset 5K Run! This picturesque evening race winds through the charming streets of Jenkintown, offering runners a scenic and challenging course lined with lush trees. The event starts at 7:00 PM from Greenwood Avenue, where participants will enjoy live music and delicious food after crossing the finish line in the bustling Borough Town Square.
The route is carefully designed to avoid Old York Road, making it one of Pennsylvania's largest evening runs. Spectators cheer along every stretch as runners navigate through the borough’s vibrant neighborhoods. The race features corrals based on pace groups for a smooth start and an organized transition into the course.
Registration fees vary by date but remain open until June 2nd at 6:55 PM, with early bird discounts available from January to April. Teams of four or more can register as well before May 24th. The event also includes a free Kids Dash for children ages six and under, held earlier in the evening.
All proceeds benefit The Kiwanis Foundation of Jenkintown, supporting local community programs. Prizes are awarded to top male and female finishers along with age group winners, but no finisher medals will be given out this year. Race packets can be picked up at Jenkintown Running Co from May 29th to 31st or on race day starting at 5:00 PM.
