IRONMAN Kalmar invites endurance athletes to challenge themselves with a demanding triathlon course set against stunning Swedish landscapes. The swim leg begins in the serene waters of the Kalmar strait, covering 3.8 kilometers. Participants then transition into their cycling gear and embark on an epic 180-kilometer bike ride that takes them across the iconic Öland Bridge, offering breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea. Finally, runners tackle a grueling yet rewarding 42.2 kilometer marathon through the heart of Kalmar city, passing historic landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods as they push towards the finish line.
