This race offers three distinct distances: a grueling 100-mile course, a challenging 50-mile route, and a more manageable yet still demanding 50k event. The terrain for all courses is flat and fast along the river trail, providing runners with a scenic backdrop of lush greenery and natural beauty. The majority of the trail (75%) offers welcome shade during hot summer days, making it an ideal location for long-distance running. For those tackling the 100-mile distance, be prepared to experience ten out-and-back segments on this well-maintained path. Aid stations are strategically placed every five miles along the route, ensuring runners have access to necessary supplies and support throughout their journey. The 50-mile race consists of five out-and-back sections, while the 50k event features a short initial segment followed by three longer out-and-back runs totaling 31 miles. All participants will encounter well-organized aid stations at regular intervals, enhancing safety and comfort during this demanding daylong adventure. Awards include finisher buckles for all competitors, with the largest buckle reserved for those completing the full 100-mile distance. Top male and female finishers in each event are also recognized on their achievements. Registration is open until August 27th to secure a guaranteed race shirt; however, additional shirts may be available after this date but there's no guarantee of size or availability. It’s important for participants to note the strict cutoff times: 36 hours for the 100-mile event and 34 hours each for both the 50-mile and 50k races. No refunds are offered, but runners can defer their entry to the following year up until 30 days before the race date. This event promises an incredible experience for endurance athletes seeking a unique challenge in a picturesque setting.
