II. ETXTRAIL

On May 29, 2027, the Etxtrail & Martxa will take place in a picturesque rural setting. The event features both long and short trail runs as well as marches starting from the town square at different times throughout the morning.
The longer trail run begins at 9:30 AM with an approximately 25-kilometer circular route, boasting a challenging positive elevation gain of 1480 meters. For those opting for less distance but still seeking adventure, the shorter trail and march options start later in the day from the same location.
Both longer events share the same rugged yet scenic course that winds through varied terrain offering stunning views and natural beauty at every turn. The shorter versions cover a circular route of about 16 kilometers with an elevation gain of 830 meters, providing runners and walkers alike with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the local landscape without overextending their limits.
Participants can look forward to crossing the finish line where they will be greeted by fellow competitors in a lively atmosphere. Prize ceremonies begin at 1:30 PM as part of the day's festivities. Additionally, all participants are eligible for door prizes and those who register early have the chance to receive commemorative t-shirts with their entry fees.
The event promises an engaging morning out on the trails followed by community spirit in the afternoon as runners celebrate their accomplishments together.
