H+P LAST CHANCE 5K

On November 28, 2026, runners gather for the final sprint of the season at this fast and spectator-friendly 5K race. The course is meticulously wheel-measured to ensure accuracy, though GPS devices may register slightly longer distances due to its precise layout. Participants can choose from two heats: the first starting promptly at 8:30 AM followed by a second heat at 8:55 AM.
The event promises an engaging atmosphere with enthusiastic supporters along the route and accurate hand timing as the gold standard for results, supplemented by segment times for verification. Runners are encouraged to start their watches manually before racing begins and ensure activities are set to public mode on tracking apps like Strava or similar platforms. Results will be posted online at https://hpwr.scrw.ca/.
For those seeking convenience in parking, the nearby Costco lot offers easy access to the race site. In case of unexpected weather conditions such as snow cover or road closures due to construction, organizers have several backup options ready to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all participants.
