2026 Toquerville Trails Turkey Trot - 22nd Annual

Step into the heart of Toquerville for the 22nd Annual Toquerville Trails Turkey Trot on November 26, 2026. This cherished community tradition invites runners to kick off Thanksgiving morning with an adventure through scenic desert trails. The race begins at Toquerville Park and winds its way along rugged paths that cut through soft sand and rocky terrain. Participants can choose between a short course of about 1.8 miles or the longer, more ambitious route stretching approximately 3.1 miles.
The trail run offers breathtaking views of canyon walls and desert mountains, making the challenging conditions feel momentarily less daunting as you soak in the natural beauty around you. The race is not just about speed; it's an experience that highlights Toquerville’s unique landscape and spirit. For those with little ones or strollers, a 1.1-mile paved street loop through part of town provides a welcoming alternative.
Race day registration opens at Toquerville City Park from 8:30 to 9:30 am for both trail runners and the stroller event participants. Early registrants secure race shirts while supplies last. All finishers receive medals, and beating the seasoned race director earns you bragging rights with a special “I Beat The Turkey” sticker.
Join this family-friendly celebration that promises not just a run but an unforgettable day in Toquerville’s scenic outdoors.
