Helmsley Easter Sunday Multi-Terrain 10km 2027

The Helmsley Easter 10K, now in its sixteenth year, is a beloved multi-terrain race that winds through the picturesque market town of Helmsley and surrounding countryside. Runners will encounter diverse landscapes including roads, forestry tracks, footpaths, and fields, offering stunning views and varied terrain throughout their journey.
This challenging yet scenic course features friendly marshals who ensure every runner feels supported from start to finish. Participants can look forward to a unique atmosphere that caters equally well to seasoned club runners and first-time competitors alike. The race is known for its exceptional organization and memorable experience, drawing high praise from past participants for both the route’s beauty and the event's welcoming spirit.
With only 430 spots available, online entry is recommended as it guarantees a place in this highly sought-after race along with an official finisher prize. Be prepared to complete the course within two hours; bone-conduction headphones are allowed but regular headphones are not permitted due to safety concerns on multi-terrain paths.
The Helmsley Easter 10K isn’t just about competition—it’s also a celebration of community and charity, as proceeds go towards supporting Samaritans Northallerton & The Dales and the local Helmsley Outdoor Pool. Join us for an unforgettable day in one of Yorkshire's most charming towns on March 28, 2027.
