Hawkhurst 10k & 5k

Join the vibrant community of runners for an unforgettable experience at the Hawkhurst 10k and 5k on Sunday, June 20, 2027. This beloved race returns to Kent's picturesque landscapes for its seventh year, offering a day filled with fun and support for local causes.
The event kicks off early in the morning, welcoming participants of all ages with an enthusiastic atmosphere. Runners can choose between a challenging 10k or a more relaxed 5k route, both winding through the scenic Moor area around Hawkhurst. A special highlight is the free junior race designed to encourage young runners and create memories that last.
The day promises plenty of community spirit, from warm-up sessions led by Gabriella from Serida Fitness to cheering marshals along the course. Upon finishing, participants will be greeted with a range of amenities including cakes, bakes, ice cream vans, coffee stalls, and even free half pints for adults. These treats are just part of what makes this race unique.
Beyond the running itself, the event supports several local initiatives through its fundraising efforts. In previous years, proceeds have gone to projects such as The Hawkhurst Community Hospital League for Friends, Hands of Hope Community Garden, Hawkhurst Foodbank, and others that enrich life in Hawkhurst.
Participants can also look forward to receiving a bespoke medal upon completion along with other special prizes like trophies and spot awards. Additionally, there will be selfie frames at the finish line and Father's Day freebies for those who participate on this particular day.
Parking is provided free of charge, ensuring easy access for all visitors. As race day approaches, registered runners will receive detailed information about event logistics to help them prepare fully for a memorable experience in Kent’s heartland.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of this community-driven celebration and contribute to local projects that make Hawkhurst such an inviting place to live and visit.
