Harmony Energy Harrogate Fun Run 2027

The Harmony Energy Junior Fun Run offers young athletes aged between 7 and 14 an exciting opportunity to showcase their running skills just before the main Harrogate 10K race. Open to children from school years 2 through 9, along with Year 10 runners under the age of 15, this event is designed to boost confidence and foster a love for physical activity.
Participants will enjoy a safe, traffic-free out-and-back course that winds its way through scenic streets, providing an ideal environment for young racers. The route starts and finishes right in front of the HSFC clubhouse, ensuring plenty of cheering supporters along the way and at the finish line to encourage each runner’s efforts.
While grown-ups are welcome to run alongside their children if they wish to provide additional support or encouragement, medals will only be awarded to junior participants who cross the finish line. Entry is available online in advance; any remaining spots can also be secured on race day starting from 08:00.
The event promises a memorable experience with its vibrant atmosphere and unique setting, making it an unforgettable part of Harrogate’s racing calendar for young athletes.
