Happy Trails Marathon

On April 10, 2027, runners will gather at East River Front Park in South Jordan for the Happy Trails Running Marathon and Half Marathon. Nestled alongside the picturesque Jordan River, this race offers stunning views of blooming spring scenery along paved trails that wind through lush greenery and charming parks.
The marathon route begins with a breathtaking start from East River Front Park before following the scenic Jordan River Trail for most of its course. Runners will cross bridges, pass golf courses, and enjoy dense tree-lined paths as they make their way to various aid stations stocked with Gatorade, water, Honey Stinger gels, fruit, and other treats.
The half marathon shares a similar route but offers runners the chance to experience some of the most beautiful stretches of the Jordan River Trail in just 13.1 miles. Both races feature well-marked courses with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals ensuring clear navigation throughout.
Participants will be treated to freshly baked cinnamon rolls and pumpkin chocolate chip bread at the finish line along with free race photos from Xotio Media, which can be downloaded easily using bib recognition on their website. The event also includes age division medals for top male and female runners in various categories as well as overall awards for first-place winners.
Registration options are available until March 31st, offering early bird discounts before normal rates apply.
