HAMILTON TROPHIES 45TH ANNIVERSARY GUAJOLOTE 5K & 10K RACES

Join us on Thursday, November 26, 2026, for the 45th anniversary of the GuaJolote Races at Hamilton Trophies. This beloved Thanksgiving morning tradition welcomes runners and families alike to participate in either a scenic 5k or challenging 10k course.
The event kicks off early with pre-registration starting at 7:00 AM, followed by the races beginning promptly at 8:30 AM. Participants will gather near Hamilton Trophies located at 1320 Garden Street for an enthusiastic start to their holiday morning. Free parking is available nearby at LISD Shirley Field.
The GuaJolote Races are known for being a family-friendly event, encouraging everyone from young children with adult supervision to seasoned runners to join in the festivities. Strollers and certified service animals are welcome on both courses, though pets generally aren't allowed due to safety concerns.
Both races feature clearly marked routes using cones throughout the course, ensuring that participants can focus solely on their run without worrying about navigation issues. Swift Timing will provide state-of-the-art timing equipment for all runners, making sure your performance is accurately recorded and celebrated.
Age groups are divided into categories from 10-under to 70+, offering a range of competitive opportunities for every runner regardless of age or experience level. The first 200 participants who register early can look forward to receiving commemorative shirts and gift bags as part of their entry fee, which varies between $25 (adult) and $15 (student under 18).
