1st ANNUAL LAREDO POLICE BLUE SANTA RUN

The Laredo Police Blue Santa Run, set to take place on December 5, 2026, invites runners and walkers of all ages to join this festive family-friendly event at Sames Auto Arena. Participants can register early for the 5K run or opt for a leisurely one-mile walk around the arena grounds.
Registration opens at 7:00 am with free parking available inside the venue. The race begins promptly at 8:00 am, and participants are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of pre-race activities and meet fellow runners. Children aged four and up can participate in the event, but those under six must have adult supervision.
The course for the 5K run is designed with safety and enjoyment in mind, featuring clear cones along the route to guide participants through the scenic arena surroundings. Strollers are welcome on the course but should line up at the back of the starting pack for everyone's safety. Participants can expect a flat terrain that showcases the vibrant spirit of Laredo.
Awards will be given out based on both overall and age group times, ensuring recognition across various categories from 10 and under to those aged 70 and over. Race day registration is available, but early registrants receive better pricing options starting at $25 for runners and a flat rate of $25 for walkers.
Shirts are distributed during packet pickup on Friday before the event or while supplies last on race day, making this an ideal opportunity to get into the holiday spirit with family and friends.
