Hallow 12 Parish Challenge

On July 10, 2027, runners and walkers will converge on the charming village of Hallow for an unforgettable journey through Worcestershire's countryside. The race offers five distinct routes—10 miles, 14 miles, 19 miles, 27.5 miles, and a challenging 40-mile option—all designed to showcase some of England’s most scenic landscapes.
Participants will navigate off-road paths that wind through the region’s diverse parishes, each mile offering new vistas and terrain. The route is meticulously waymarked with clear signage at key points for easy navigation. Checkpoints are strategically placed every five miles or so along all routes, providing essential hydration and simple snacks to keep energy levels up.
The event starts early in the morning; those tackling the longest distances can begin as early as 6:30 am, while shorter route participants will start their journey at 8:00 am. All runners must be off by 9:00 am to ensure they complete the course before the cut-off time of 21:30.
Upon finishing, all competitors are treated to a hot meal and a certificate celebrating their achievement. Maps and detailed route descriptions will be available online and via email a few weeks prior to the event, allowing participants ample time for preparation.
This race is not just about reaching the finish line but also about immersing oneself in the beauty of Worcestershire’s countryside and enjoying the camaraderie among fellow adventurers.
