Guangzhou's highest point, deep in Lingnan's mountains -- canyon, ridgeline, stream, dense forest, bamboo sea, and old villages unfold with every step. The soul of the course is Tiantangding, Guangzhou's tallest peak, where clouds roll below the summit. Known for its extreme climbing-and-descent profile stacking one thousand-meter peak after another, this is South China trail running at its most demanding.
