GeelKlip Summer Challenge

Dive into the world of Obstacle Course Racing at The Open, where participants can expect a thrilling 5-6 km course packed with around 20 challenging obstacles. This non-competitive event invites runners to experience World Championship-level challenges without any need for qualification or federation affiliation. Whether you're part of a team from work looking to bond over shared struggles and laughter, or simply seeking an adrenaline-pumping adventure, The Open offers the perfect setting.
The course is designed to test your limits with jumps, climbs, crawls, and hangs that will leave you covered in mud but feeling victorious. Ages 6 and up are welcome; kids can enjoy a scaled-down version of what adults face, accompanied by parents for safety.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants receive a commemorative medal along with free beer to celebrate their accomplishment. Professional photos capture your triumphant moment, ensuring you have lasting memories to share.
Make sure to arrive an hour before your start time to park and pick up your race packet comfortably. Dress in performance gear such as compression bottoms and breathable tops made from water-wicking materials for optimal comfort during the muddy journey ahead. Don't forget a towel and extra clothes for post-race changes, along with cash for any on-site purchases.
The Open promises an exhilarating day of fun, teamwork, and personal challenge amidst scenic trails that transform into a playground of obstacles waiting to be conquered.
