GCTR December Run
About the event
Join the Gold Coast Trail Runners and Council's Active & Healthy program for an exhilarating monthly trail run this December, heading up to Hellfire Pass. This challenging outing features more hiking than running but offers breathtaking views of the Gold Coast Hinterland. The event starts at Belliss Road car park in Mount Nathan/Clagiraba with a mix of undulating terrain before ascending steeply.
Participants can choose between two routes: a shorter 7.5km return trip focusing on Hellfire Pass, or an extended 12km loop that includes Freeman's Lookout and tests your descending skills. Both options promise stunning vistas and rewarding climbs. The event is free to attend but registration is appreciated for catering purposes.
Meet at Belliss Road car park in Mount Nathan/Clagiraba early December 6th for a morning of adventure and camaraderie among fellow trail runners.
This run is part of the Gold Coast Trail Runners' series, offering monthly events throughout 2026-27. Whether you're an avid runner or just starting out, there's always something exciting to experience on these scenic trails.
