Ft Huachuca Turkey Trot 5K

The Fort Huachuca Turkey Trot 5K and Kid Fun Run offers runners a unique opportunity to kick off Thanksgiving Day with a burst of energy. On November 26, 2026, the festivities start early at Barnes Field House with packet pick-up from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on race day registration morning or during Race Day between 6:00 and 6:45 AM.
The event begins with a fun-filled Kids 2K Fun Run at 7:00 AM, setting the stage for the Turkey Trot 5K which follows immediately after. The scenic course winds through Fort Huachuca's historic grounds, providing runners with picturesque views of the installation’s distinctive architecture and lush landscapes.
Participants who sign up early will be among the first 50 to receive a commemorative T-shirt—a special keepsake for this annual tradition. To ensure entry into the military base, all participants must obtain an access pass from the visitor's center at Van Deman Gate before race day during regular operating hours (Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM).
Join us for a memorable morning of running and community spirit as you prepare to indulge in Thanksgiving feasts with extra gusto.
