FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

From Dusk Till Dawn 2027, set to take place on Saturday, June 19, invites cyclists for an unforgettable night ride under the stars. This third edition of the gravel nightride promises approximately 160 kilometers of challenging terrain and breathtaking scenery as participants traverse through the shortest night of the year.
The event begins at 't Tuinboerke in Herent near Leuven with a warm-up session starting from 8:00 PM, where riders can socialize, plan their route, grab snacks or drinks before embarking on this unique adventure. The ride officially kicks off at 10:00 PM and continues until the early hours of dawn.
Participants will enjoy an exclusive experience as they pedal through the night under a canopy of stars, with no pressure to compete—just an invitation to explore and appreciate the beauty of gravel roads in low light conditions. At around 26 kilometers per hour, riders can expect a steady pace that allows for both enjoyment and conversation among fellow cyclists.
The route is designed to be accessible yet challenging, covering about 150 meters of elevation gain over its length. Along the way, there are double supply stations equipped with plenty of sweet and savory treats to keep energy levels high throughout the ride. Additionally, technical support from FietsSOS ensures that any mechanical issues can be addressed quickly through a dedicated WhatsApp group where riders share locations for assistance.
As dawn breaks on Sunday morning, participants will cross the finish line at 't Tuinboerke greeted with an extensive and satisfying breakfast to refuel after their night's efforts. Each rider also receives a commemorative sticker along with a special edition one for those who have completed multiple nightrides.
This event is limited to 200 riders, ensuring a personal touch throughout the experience. Tickets are sold in three waves: Sunset, Midnight, and Sunrise, each wave offering different pricing tiers until full capacity is reached. Early registration is recommended as spots fill up quickly for this exclusive adventure.
Riders can also opt to purchase an exclusive cycling jersey from GOBIK when booking their ticket before March 31st. This event not only aims to provide a thrilling gravel experience but also supports OTL Centrum – Talent in 't Veld, an organization that assists individuals with brain injuries caused by accidents or trauma.
Fun On Wheels will donate between €3 and €5 for each sold ticket towards this cause, contributing positively beyond the cycling community. Riders who wish to give back further can make additional voluntary donations during registration.
