Trail For Nature 2026
About the event
Are you ready for an adventurous trail run? On Sunday, November 15, 2026, Natuurpunt Herent is hosting its second annual challenging race through the beautiful autumn landscape. Choose your distance and prepare to tackle elevation gains on muddy off-road trails.
This event offers a unique opportunity to push your limits while enjoying nature at its finest. After crossing the finish line, relax in a cozy atmosphere with warming bowls of soup provided for all participants. Young trail runners are also welcome; they can participate in a free kids' trail run.
Your effort directly contributes to protecting our local natural environment. Three distances are available:
- 7.5 km (130 meters of elevation gain)
- 15 km (250 meters of elevation gain)
- 22 km (350 meters of elevation gain)
Official timing and results will be provided for all participants, with mid-race refreshments offered to those competing in the longer distances. The event limits registration numbers per distance.
Early bird discounts are available for the first 150 registrants on each course. Start and finish lines are located at Warotzaal in Winksele.
