The event offers a variety of distances suitable for all levels of experience: a challenging 50K on Friday evening, followed by shorter yet equally engaging options including the 17K, 35K, and 5K races on Saturday. Each run takes place along dirt single-track trails that wind through the scenic Land Heritage Institute Trails with an elevation gain of approximately 300 feet over a looped course.
Participants can choose to register individually or take advantage of special discounts by signing up for the Texas Summer Night Series, which includes this event and others throughout the summer. The series pass offers savings of up to 20% on race entry fees when you commit early.
The Land Heritage Institute Trails provide an enchanting backdrop with their natural beauty and diverse terrain. Runners can expect a well-marked course supported by friendly volunteers who will assist along the way. Aid stations are strategically placed, offering hydration and essential nutrition throughout each distance to ensure runners stay fueled for the journey ahead.
As part of the Texas Outlaw Running series, this event promises an unforgettable night filled with camaraderie among participants and breathtaking scenery. The race is not just about crossing the finish line but also celebrating the spirit of adventure in a community that shares your passion for trail running.
Make sure to arrive early on both Friday and Saturday evenings as packet pickup begins at 6:30 PM, giving you ample time before each race start. Remember, there are no cups provided during this event; bring your own hydration system to stay hydrated throughout the course.
