Lace up your snow boots, don your cozy winter gear, and set out on a scenic route through this picturesque village. Participants can choose from four different distances to suit their preferences: a leisurely 6 km walk or run along marked orange flags, a challenging 12 km double-run also indicated by the same markers, and for families, a delightful 1 km circular stroll around Ferslev’s communal grounds.
The event kicks off with warm-up sessions at Forsamlingshus parkeringsplads on Hoppevænget 8 in Svenstrup. Registration opens at 9:30 AM, followed by group stretching and activities leading up to the start times for each category. As you cross the finish line, celebrate your achievement with a medal and join fellow participants inside Forsamlingshuset where delicious treats await amidst festive cheer.
Beyond the races themselves, there are exciting opportunities to win prizes through raffle draws and special awards given out to the fastest male and female runners in both 6 km and 12 km categories. Don’t forget your camera as you make memories that will last long after this delightful winter event has ended.
