Experience the vibrant spirit of inclusion and diversity at the 2026 Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot, an exhilarating trail run/walk through the picturesque landscapes of Ontario. This inclusive event welcomes runners of all ages and abilities to explore Garnet Graham Beach Park on Cameron Lake in Fenelon Falls. The race follows a scenic out-and-back route along the Kawartha Rail Trail, offering participants stunning views and a memorable journey. The course is designed for both seasoned athletes and casual walkers, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this health-focused event. A portion of the proceeds from each registration will be donated to Women's Resources, an organization dedicated to supporting women and children in the Kawartha Lakes area. This race not only promotes physical fitness but also supports a worthy cause. Registration is now open for early birds until April 30th, offering attractive discounts compared to later dates: - Kids under 12: $9 - Youth, adults, seniors: $20 For the spring registration period from May 1st to June 30th, prices increase slightly but still provide a great value: - Kids under 12: $10 - Youth, adult, senior: $22 Participants in the 5k/10k category can register for youth (ages 13-19) and seniors (60+), with competitive rates starting at $40. Adult registration remains at $45. As summer progresses, prices rise to reflect late registrations: - Kids under 12: $13 - Youth/Adult/Senior: $35 For the 5k/10k categories, youth and adults will pay $35 each, while seniors can still register for a reduced price of $60. Team discounts are available for groups of four to six participants in both the 1k and longer distances. Members from Fenelon Falls Chamber of Commerce, Athletics Ontario, Run Guides, and Spafford Health & Adventure enjoy exclusive savings with their special codes. Contact the race director for more details on these incentives. Race promoters can also benefit by earning a 5% referral fee when they register through Race Roster. Please note that this event will sell out at its maximum capacity of 550 participants, so early registration is strongly recommended to secure your spot. Online registration closes Tuesday, October 6th, 2026, and advanced race kit pickup can be arranged on Friday, October 9th from 2-4 pm at the Fenelon Curling Club. Race morning packet pick-up will begin promptly at 8:30 am on Saturday, October 11th, in the Gazebo area of Garnet Graham Park. This event is pet-free; however, if you require a support animal to complete your run/walk, please contact the race director for assistance.
