Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot Trail Race & Family Fun Run
About the Event
The 2026 Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot is an inclusive trail race and fun run/walk event designed to promote health and fitness for all participants. Held on October 10, 2026, at Garnet Graham Beach Park along Cameron Lake in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada (K0M1N0), this scenic route offers runners and walkers the opportunity to enjoy a picturesque out-and-back course along the Kawartha Rail Trail. The event features distances for all ages: a 1k race suitable for children aged 12 and under, as well as options for youth, adults, and seniors with both 5k and 10k runs. The registration process includes early bird rates from March 15 to April 30, spring rates from May 1 to June 30, mid-summer rates from July 1 to August 31, and late summer pricing until October 6. Registration is open through Race Roster with discounts available for team groups of four or more members. Additional savings are also offered to members of the Fenelon Falls Chamber of Commerce, Athletics Ontario, Run Guides, and Spafford Health & Adventure upon request from the race director. Early registration closes on Tuesday, October 6th at 11 PM, after which there will be no further opportunities for sign-up as the event is expected to reach its capacity limit of 550 participants. Kit pickup options include advanced collection at Fenelon Curling Club on Friday, October 9 from 2-4 pm or race morning pick up starting at 8:30 am Saturday Oct.11th at the Gazebo in Garnet Graham Park. The event is committed to supporting local communities and has partnered with Women's Resources—an organization dedicated to empowering women and children in Kawartha Lakes—as well as various minority groups including South Asian, LGBTQI+, and First Nations communities. Personalized coaching sessions are also available from Janet Goddard, a trained running coach and Fenelon Falls native. Participants will enjoy the serene beauty of Garnet Graham Beach Park while contributing to important causes through their participation in this community-focused event. The race is pet-free for safety reasons; however, support animals must be registered with the race director ahead of time if required during the run/walk. Join us on October 10th at Fenelon Falls for a day filled with camaraderie and scenic routes along the Kawartha Rail Trail.
