Farnborough Half

The Farnborough Winter Half Marathon marks the beginning of racing season for many runners, drawing up to 3000 participants each year. The race begins and concludes under the iconic Aircraft Hangar Arch at Farnborough Business Park, offering a memorable start and finish line experience.
This year's route has undergone minor adjustments due to ongoing construction on Laffans Lane and Shoe Lane, eliminating an out-and-back section that previously caused congestion. Instead, runners will traverse additional stretches around the Farnborough Exhibition Centre, weaving through its roads while circling the airport perimeter. The course features scenic views of the historic airfield as it winds along the inner lane of the A325 before turning onto Aerospace Boulevard and looping back to the exhibition grounds.
Runners can expect a mix of flat terrain with gentle inclines around the Farnborough Exhibition Centre, providing an engaging challenge throughout the half marathon distance. The event showcases the rich aviation heritage of this area while offering participants a unique urban-rural blend as they navigate through industrial parks and open spaces near the airport.
