FALKIRK WILD SUMMER TRAIL RUNS - CALLENDAR HOUSE

About the Event

Nestled within the picturesque Callendar Park in Falkirk, Scotland, the Falkirk Wild Summer Trail Runs promise an unforgettable trail running experience amidst historic parkland and serene woodland trails. This inaugural event at Callendar House offers three challenging routes for runners of all ages and abilities.
The 5km route is ideal for newcomers to trail running, offering a gentle introduction through beautiful grounds with varied terrain that showcases the natural beauty of Scotland. For those looking to step up their game, the 10km course provides an excellent progression from shorter races, while the half marathon presents an early-season challenge for seasoned runners.

The parkland around Callendar House features flowing paths that wind through lush greenery and open spaces, providing participants with stunning views throughout their run.
The race day will feature live chip-timing to ensure accurate results, while all finishers can look forward to receiving an event medal, exclusive Wild Deer merchandise, a snack, and a drink upon crossing the finish line. Canicross enthusiasts are welcome too; each runner may bring one controlled dog along for the adventure.
Start times vary by distance: 9:45 AM for both the 10km and half marathon events, followed by the 5km race at 10:00 AM sharp. Parking details will be provided closer to the event date.
For those traveling from afar, Grange Manor Hotel offers a convenient stay option just minutes away from Callendar House. This historic hotel provides comfortable accommodations with discounted rates for guests attending the trail runs and includes breakfast. Additionally, Cook's Bar & Kitchen at the hotel invites runners to celebrate their achievements over dinner, offering complimentary glasses of fizz per person when showing your race medal.
