About the Event

Join the Exe Estuary events on June 13, 2027, for an unforgettable journey through East Devon's diverse landscapes. Choose from three challenging distances: the grueling 50k, the marathon, or the half marathon. The race begins at Budleigh Salterton beach and takes runners along scenic routes that include coastal paths, riverside trails, country lanes, and estuary paths.
The 50k route starts with a 5-mile loop around the River Otter before merging with the marathon course. Both courses feature an out-and-back section on the South West Coast Path, offering breathtaking ocean views as you head up to Topsham and back. The half marathon primarily follows trails, including the iconic Orcombe Point Aid Station in Exmouth.
All finishers will receive a bespoke "Exe Estuary" metal medal, while ice cream awaits at the finish line for all participants. Well-stocked aid stations are positioned throughout each route, ensuring runners stay hydrated and fueled as they tackle this challenging terrain. The event promises an immersive experience with stunning scenery and a supportive atmosphere along every mile of your journey.
