Ekiden de Toulouse

The Ekiden de Toulouse invites runners of all ages and abilities to experience this unique relay race format that originated in Japan over a century ago. On April 4, 2027, teams of six will take on the scenic routes through France's Pink City, covering distances similar to those traditionally run in Japanese ekidens: 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, and concluding with a final stretch of 7.195 km.
Organized by Triathlon Toulouse Métropole and the Club Athlétique Balmanais, this event offers an engaging team experience through iconic landmarks like L'Envol des Pionniers and the Halle de la Machine, known for its impressive show machines. The race route also includes a thrilling segment on the legendary Piste des Géants.
Toulouse, renowned as the capital of French rugby and Occitanie region, is celebrated for its charming cityscape and rich cultural offerings.
