Dovedale Dash

The Dovedale Dash, now in its 67th edition, invites runners of all abilities to experience one of the Derbyshire Peak District's most iconic cross-country races on October 3, 2027. Set against the backdrop of Thorpe village and the stunning beauty of Dovedale, this 4¾-mile course winds through lush fields, paths, and open ground along the valleys of rivers Dove and Manifold.

A highlight is crossing the river Dove using the well-known Stepping Stones, an exhilarating moment for all participants. For those interested in bringing younger family members along, there's also the Mini Dash, a shorter and more manageable route specifically designed for children aged 11 and under.
