DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail Half Marathon & Super Seven - Spring 2027

On April 18, 2027, runners will gather at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre for the annual Wyre Wizard Trail Half Marathon. Nestled within Callow Hill's ancient woodland, this scenic race offers participants a challenging yet rewarding journey through some of England’s most enchanting natural landscapes.
The half marathon route stretches over 13 miles and winds its way past towering trees and rolling hills that have inspired tales of magic and wonder for centuries. For those looking for a slightly shorter adventure, the Wyre Wizard Super Seven provides an equally captivating 7.6-mile course.
Registration opens at 09:45 AM with race start times set for 10:00 AM sharp. The event features fully signed and marshalled routes to guide runners through varied terrain that includes steep ascents and descents, testing the technical skills of even seasoned trail enthusiasts.
Participants will enjoy four water stations along the way, each offering hydration and sweet treats to keep energy levels high throughout the race. Upon crossing the finish line within a 4-hour time limit, all competitors receive special edition finisher medals and are eligible for category prizes including real ale from Teme Valley Brewery.
Medical support is readily available with both on-site medical personnel and a tail runner ensuring safety at all times. The event also includes public address announcements and shout-outs to keep spirits high as runners tackle the challenging course.
After completing their run, participants can unwind in the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre’s cafe where hot beverages and delicious treats await.
For those unable to make it this year, early bird entries offer a discounted rate of £20 for the half marathon and £15 for the Super Seven route, but only available for the first 20 registrants.
Remember, parking at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre requires payment via pay & display or Forestry England permits.
This event promises an unforgettable day out in one of Britain’s most magical forests.
