Runners will encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including alligators and snakes, while enjoying panoramic views from elevated boardwalks.
The race starts at 7:00 AM for both the 50K and 50-mile distances with a cutoff time of 14 hours to complete either challenge. Participants are encouraged to explore Tickfaw State Park’s amenities before or after the event, including cabin accommodations equipped with basic cookware and linens.
Race day will be filled with hearty meals at aid stations featuring local favorites like Red Beans and Rice, alongside vegan options for all dietary preferences. Swag bags include a dri-fit moisture-wicking shirt, speed cup, and portable power bank charger to keep you energized throughout the race.
