Devon Trail Races 2025 returns this summer with an exciting journey through the scenic trails surrounding Roadford Lake. Participants will navigate diverse terrain that showcases the natural beauty of Devon’s countryside, winding paths and lush landscapes offering runners a memorable experience.
The race course is meticulously marked and marshalled to ensure smooth navigation for all competitors. Alongside the challenging route, runners can look forward to receiving chip timing technology which accurately records their performance throughout the event. A well-stocked feed station will be available along the way to provide essential hydration and energy boosts as you push through.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will receive a custom-designed medal celebrating this year’s edition of the Devon Trail Races. The post-race celebration includes complimentary beer and snacks for all runners, providing an ideal setting to unwind and socialize with fellow competitors. Additionally, race organizers offer free number transfers should any participant need to adjust their plans.

About Lifton

Broadwoodwidger is a village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 548. The village is just to the north of the A30 road, and is about eight miles east of Launceston in Cornwall, and 13 miles west of Okehampton. Roadford Reservoir, which is also called Roadford Lake, is to the north-east of the village, and the River Wolf passes at the bottom of the hillside on which the village stands.
