Experience an exhilarating weekend of adventure with the Ultimate Triathlon Event, combining stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), mountain biking, and trail running. Whether you're an avid athlete or just looking for a unique challenge, this three-discipline race offers something unforgettable.
The Standard distance features 3 kilometers of SUP on Roadford Lake's serene waters, followed by a challenging 21-kilometer MTB course through the rugged terrain of Dartmoor’s Wolf Valley. The day culminates with a scenic 5-kilometer trail run that winds through breathtaking landscapes and past dramatic tors.
For those seeking an extra challenge, the Long distance extends to 6 kilometers on SUP, doubles the cycling route to 42 kilometers, and adds another 5 kilometers of invigorating trail running. Both distances offer participants a memorable journey across diverse terrains and stunning natural scenery.
The event takes place at Roadford Lake, located just five minutes off the A30 between Launceston and Okehampton. This picturesque venue is nestled in the heart of Devon's countryside, offering an idyllic setting for this adventure race weekend. Surrounded by rolling hills and dramatic tors, participants will enjoy a visually stunning backdrop as they navigate through each stage.
On Saturday, all registered athletes can participate in complimentary SUP training sessions from 9am to 2pm. These include beginner lessons, advanced masterclasses, and even an innovative SUP Yoga session led by experienced instructors. Friends and family are welcome to purchase water access passes for their own paddling experience during these times.
Upon crossing the finish line on race day, participants will receive a commemorative finishers medal, a stylish Tech-Tee designed specifically for this event, professional timing services, and a refreshing cold beer to celebrate their achievement.
