Immerse yourself in an unforgettable weekend of adventure with the Ultimate Triathlon Event. This unique competition combines stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), mountain biking, and trail running to create a thrilling challenge for athletes of all levels. Competitors can choose between two distances: the Standard course featuring 3 kilometers of SUP, followed by 13 kilometers on a rugged MTB trail, culminating in a scenic 5-kilometer run through the woods. For those seeking an extra dose of excitement and endurance, the Long course offers double the distance with 6 kilometers of paddling, 21 kilometers cycling, and concludes with a challenging 10-kilometer trek. The event takes place at Roadford Lake, located just minutes off the A30 between Launceston and Okehampton. This breathtaking venue is framed by the stunning Wolf Valley and the dramatic tors of Dartmoor, providing an awe-inspiring backdrop for every stage of your journey. On Saturday, participants are invited to take part in complimentary SUP training sessions from 9am until 2pm, offering beginners a chance to learn essential skills or advanced paddlers a chance to refine their technique. These classes include beginner lessons, masterclasses, and even an opportunity to practice SUP yoga. Friends and family can also purchase water access passes for additional instruction. Upon completing the event on Sunday, all participants will receive a finisher's medal and a specially designed Tech-Tee commemorating this unique experience. The excitement doesn't end there; as you cross the finish line, quench your thirst with a refreshing cold beer provided by our sponsors. Join us at Roadford Lake for an adventure that combines breathtaking scenery, challenging terrain, and a community of like-minded athletes eager to push their limits in one of England's most picturesque settings.
