DESAFIO DA FLORESTA KIDS

The Forest Challenge Kids is set to debut as one of the highlights for the 2027 edition, tailored specifically for young participants. This initiative aims to engage children and teenagers with sports, running, and nature in an inclusive environment designed for families. The event features categories such as KIDS, INFANTIL, SUB-14, and SUB-16, offering age-appropriate challenges that emphasize participation, athletic development, and fun.
The day begins at 3:00 PM with a series of races starting from the youngest competitors to older teens. Categories include children aged two years running 25 meters, four-year-olds covering 50 meters, five-to-seven-year-olds racing 100 meters, eight-and-nine-year-olds tackling 200 meters, and ten-to-eleven-year-olds competing in a 400-meter dash. Older participants, those twelve to fifteen years old, will run distances of 800 meters for the SUB-14 category and an impressive 3-kilometer race for the SUB-16 group.
The event offers more than just racing opportunities; it includes free popcorn and cotton candy, a playground with monitors overseeing activities, ambient music, food trucks serving up delicious treats, and a relaxing area for parents. These elements create a vibrant atmosphere that encourages young athletes to embrace their competitive spirit while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow participants.
The Forest Challenge Kids promises an engaging day filled with excitement and memorable moments for all involved.
